Pakistan continued their strong run in the Plate Division of the Asian Women Netball Championships 2026 when they conquered Chinese Taipei 55-38 in Hong Kong to blast their way into the semi-finals on Wednesday.
Now Pakistan will again face the same oppsotions Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals on Friday. In the other semi-final on the same day Korea will lock horns with Thailand.
The result marked another convincing performance by Pakistan, which have been competing in the Plate Division alongside Japan, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and South Korea. The tournament will last until August 15.
Pakistan controlled the contest to secure a 17-goal victory, adding to their impressive start in the competition. They had earlier opened their campaign with a 58-34 win over Japan before producing another dominant display against South Korea.
The Asian Netball Championships is being contested across Cup and Plate divisions, with the tournament also carrying significance as teams compete for qualification to the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney.
