Anti-state activity: Notice issued to Shandana Gulzar declared illegal
The Peshawar High Court declared FIA’s notice to PTI leader Shandana Gulzar on charges of anti-state activities illegal.
According to Express News, the Peshawar High Court today pronounced a reserved decision after hearings on the petition filed by PTI leader Shandana Gulzar against the FIA Lahore notice. The High Court held the FIA’s notice to Shandana Gulzar illegal for her anti-state statement.
It may be recalled that Shandana Gulzar was summoned by the FIA Lahore on March 14 for campaigning against the state authorities and inciting the public and deprived her of the right to defense in non-appearance.

The FIA had issued a notice to Shandana Gulzar on the written complaint of Shoaib Mirza and directed her to appear at the Cyber Crime Reporting Center Lahore, but on the request of the PTI leader, the court declared the notice illegal.
