India; 3 Muslim youths drowned in the river while trying to take a selfie
New Delhi: Three young men, Tawheed, Shaan and Fahad, who were traveling in a boat on the river Ganga-Yamuna in India, fell into the river while trying to take a selfie.
According to Indian media, only 19-year-old Fahad could be saved alive, while the bodies of 17-year-old Tawheed and 18-year-old Shaan were recovered from the river by divers.
The parents of the youth who drowned in the river say that no safety measures were taken on the river and the dead bodies of our loved ones have not been given yet.
Eyewitnesses also say that if the divers had reached in time, the other 2 youths could have been saved.
On the other hand, the police say that the bodies will be handed over to the relatives only after the post-mortem. This incident will be investigated from all aspects.
