Germany; A man who attacked an anti-Islamic leader was shot dead by police

Berlin:  German police have shot dead a man who attacked the leader of a far-right party with a knife during a rally.

According to the World News Agency, in a central market in Germany, the extremist anti-Islamic leader Michael Storzenberger was addressing a gathering and during this time a knife-wielding person attacked.

The attacker also stabbed the policeman who came to rescue the anti-Islamic leader, on which the other policeman shot the attacker.

As a result of the bullet, the attacker fell on the ground and was taken to the hospital. His condition is said to be out of danger. However, the identity of the knife-wielding attacker has not been revealed.

In the social media footage, it can be seen that a bearded man is being taken to the hospital with injuries.

It should be noted that the 59-year-old Storzenberger is a politician and blogger who has a reputation for opposing Islam. His party is running a regular campaign to stop Muslims coming to Germany from Palestine and other Muslim countries
