Pakhtunkhwa; 6 Chairman of the Board of Governors of Medical Teaching Institutions dismissed
Peshawar: The chairman of the board of governors of 6 medical teaching institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been dismissed.
According to the announcement, Chairperson and Member of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar Professor Dr. Zubair Khan, Chairperson and Member of Khyber Teaching Hospital Dr. Umar Ayub Khan, Chairperson and Member Board of Hayat Medical Complex Ghulam Qadir Khan, Chairperson and Member Board of Governors of Mardan Medical Complex. Attaullah Toro, Chairperson and Member of Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital Bannu Abdul Rauf Khan, Chairperson and Member of Qazi Hussain Ahmed Shaheed Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Khan have been dismissed from the post. Besides, 24 members of BoG have also been removed from their posts.
According to the announcement made by the Department of Health, PTI Chairman’s cousin Dr. Naushirwan Barki has once again been appointed as a member of the Board of Governors of Lady Reading Hospital. On the recommendation of the Search and Nomination Council, Dr. Naushirwan Barki has been appointed for 3 years. has been done
According to the announcement, Dr. Shahnawaz has also been appointed as Lady Reading Hospital BBOG member. Major General (retd) Amjad Fahim, Malik Akhtar Hussain Awan and Khalid Rasool have also been appointed members of BOG Hayatabad Medical Complex, while Taimur Shah, Rubina Nauman Gilani have also been appointed as members of the Board of Governors of Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar.
Similarly, Dr. Asif Loya, Member BOG Peshawar Institute of Cardiology, Prof. Nurul Ayman, Dr. Jahanzeb Malik, Member BOG Qazi Hussain Ahmed Memorial Hospital Nowshera, Major General Muhammad Salahuddin Qasim, Dr. Tufail Muhammad Bacha Khan, Medical Complex Swabi. Dr. Arshad Javed, Dr. Najibur Rahman Khan, Dr. Arif Aslam Kundi, Member BOG Mardan Medical Complex, Dr. Abid Jameel, Dr. Alamzeb Khan, Member Board of Governors Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad, Dr. Saeedullah Shah, Dr. Zafarullah. has been appointed as member BOG Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital.
