New York: The fragmented national cricket team has been left in tatters as a poor performance in the World Cup exposed the problems.
The Pakistani team participating in the T20 World Cup is already facing elimination from the round after defeating the host USA and then India. Before that, after losing the first match against Ireland, they barely won the series while failing against England.
Former cricketers and pundits are unhappy with the substandard performance of the players. According to sources, the national team is divided into several pieces, the captaincy dispute has turned friends into rivals, many players communicate only to the extent of work, some groups even. Also made due to specific references, board officials are surprised by such a distribution among 15 cricketers.
