The moon of Zul Hijjah was also seen in different countries including India, Sri Lanka

New Delhi:  It has been announced that the moon of Zul-Hijjah 1445 Hijri will be sighted in various countries including India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka.

According to an international media report, the Grand Mufti of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir announced the sighting of the moon on Eid-ul-Adha.

The announcement issued by the Central Mosque in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, also announced the sighting of the moon of Dhul-Hijjah 1445 Hijri. The Shia Moon Committee of Lucknow, India also announced the moon of Zul Hijjah.

The official committee of Bangladesh officially announced the sighting of the Dhul-Hijjah moon, while the official committee of the Islamic Emirates (Afghanistan) also confirmed the sighting of the moon.

In the above mentioned countries, 1st Zul Hijjah will be celebrated on June 8 and Eid-ul-Adha on June 17 with religious fervor in which Muslims will sacrifice their animals following the Sunnah of Abraham to gain the pleasure of God.

It should be noted that a day ago it was announced that the moon of Dhul Hijjah 1445 Hijri would be seen in other countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Egypt, Oman. Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 16 in these countries.
