Providence: In the ninth match of the T20 World Cup, Uganda defeated Papua New Guinea by 3 wickets.
In the Group C match played in Providence, Uganda achieved the target of 78 runs in the 19th over for the loss of 7 wickets.
Riazat Ali Shah scored 33 runs for Uganda. Joma Miyagi 13, Alpesh Ramjani 8, Simon Sasazi, Robinson Obuya 1, 1 while Dinesh Nakarani and Roger Mukosa 0, 0 runs were out.
