Indian election results, BJP alliance won a simple majority
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies NDA won a simple majority to form the government in the Lok Sabha elections in India.
According to the Election Commission of India, the Lok Sabha election results are coming out and according to the final results so far, out of 543 seats, the NDA candidates have won 291 seats while they have a lead in 5 seats.
According to the Election Commission, the alliance of Congress and other parties has won 215 seats so far and has a lead in 15. Apart from this, other political parties won 17 seats and they have a lead on one.

The Indian Prime Minister, while thanking the Election Commission and those conducting the election affairs for the successful conduct of the elections, said that everyone did their best work in such heat.
Modi said that we have got a clear majority in the state of Kerala and Orissa as well where for the first time we are in a strong position to bring the Chief Minister.
