Former Australian cricketer and former national team mentor Matthew Hayden also dropped Pakistan from his top four teams for the T20 World Cup 2024.
In an interview given to Star Sports, former cricketer Matthew Hayden predicted his semi-final teams for the T20 World Cup and said that I think India, England, Australia and South Africa can be the top four teams.
Hayden, who served as the mentor of the Pakistan team in the T20 World Cup 2022, also expressed confidence in the green shirts for the mega event, saying that the Pakistan team is a dragon horse.

His fast bowling with Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah could prove to be a good combination while the return of Amir Haris and Imad has strengthened his squad.

He said that Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman are the backbone of the batting line, if the fielding remains remarkable, Pakistan can definitely join the top four.
