After former cricketers Ricky Ponting, Andy Flower, Justin Langer also refused to coach the Indian team.
Former cricketer Justin Langer, who coached the Australian team, told BBC in an interview that after consulting Lucknow Supergiants captain KL Rahul, he showed no interest in coaching the Indian team.
He said that during the Indian Premier League (IPL), he asked for advice from L. Rahul, on which he said that if you think that there is pressure and politics like IPL, then multiply it by a thousand! I think it was a suggestion from the captain.

Justin Langer is serving as the head coach for Lucknow Supergiants in the current season of IPL.

The former cricketer had resigned from coaching the Australian team in the year 2022 despite the success in the T20 World Cup and the Ashes.
Earlier, Andy Flower and Ricky Ponting had also refused to coach the Indian team, saying that the franchise is focused on coaching cricket and not interested in full-time coaching
