USA won a historic victory against Bangladesh, one of the top 10 ranked teams of ICC, they defeated Bengal Tigers by 5 wickets.
In the match played in Houston, Bangladesh batted first and scored 153 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. On behalf of Bengal Tigers, Tawheed Hardwai scored 58 runs while Mohammad Riaz scored 31 runs, Soumya Sarkar scored 20 runs, and Latin Das scored 14 runs.

In pursuit of the target, the American team played an aggressive game on the home ground and achieved the target of 154 runs in 19.3 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Harmeet Singh played a brilliant innings of 33 runs on behalf of America, while Corey Anderson scored 34 runs and Steven Taylor scored 28 runs.
It should be noted that this was America’s first victory against the top teams in the ICC rankings. In the World Cup, America is in Group A along with Pakistan, India and Ireland
