The primary reason for this “overreaction” to Shoaib Malik marriage to Sana Javed may be the fact that both Sana and Shoaib were already married and they had not publicly announced their divorces. Sana Javed was earlier married to singer Umair Jaswal and Shoaib Malik was married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
However, Pakistani film and TV actor Ahsan Khan spoke about the reason for people’s “overreaction” to Shoaib and Sana’s marriage. Speaking to the popular TV host Nadia Khan, Ahsan Khan said that people overreacted to Sana-Shoaib’s marriage probably because they had no clue about their relationship before they broke the news of their marriage.
Since Sana and Ahsan had worked together in a drama serial recently, Nadia asked Ahsan to tell the viewers how Sana and Shoaib met and how their marriage took place. In response, Ahsan said he had no idea at all of all these things. He said he was happy for their marriage. He said that if they were not happy in their previous relationships, their second marriage should come as a surprise for people. He said it was their personal choice and the best thing is that they have solemnized their Nikah.
Ahsan however said that Sana is his friend and he would not like to discuss here even if Sana ever talked to him about her relationship with Shoaib. He said it’s God who brings people together.
It is worth mentioning here that Sana and Shoaib had announced their marriage in January 2024 by posting pictures of their marriage on social media. Before they broke this news themselves, people had no idea about their relationship therefore the announcement of their marriage came as a shock for many.
