Pakistani fan buys 800 tickets to form human flag at T20 match in Australia
A Pakistani fan residing in Brisbane has orchestrated a remarkable show of patriotism ahead of the Pakistan cricket team’s upcoming white-ball tour of Australia.
Tariq Naveed, a devoted supporter of the Green Shirts, has purchased all 800 tickets for the Pakistan Fan Zone at the Gabba Stadium, where the T20 match against Australia is scheduled for November 14.
Naveed’s ambitious plan is to create a human flag of Pakistan using the 800 fans who will occupy the designated area during the match. Preparations for this grand display of national pride are already underway.
Naveed expressed his desire to uplift the spirits of Pakistani cricketers, particularly during challenging times. “Our cricketers are our heroes, and it’s our duty to support them,” he stated. “They are guests in Australia, and we want to make them feel at home.”
The Pakistan cricket team is set to tour Australia for a white-ball series in November, with the T20 match at the Gabba being one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures.
