Seven members of a family, including women and children, were rescued after being trapped by floodwaters near Tor Khazi Dam in Loralai, Balochistan.

The rescue operation, conducted by the district administration and police, successfully brought the stranded family to safety.

According to Deputy Commissioner Mehran Baloch, the family became trapped when a sudden surge of floodwater swept through the area.

Prompt action by the authorities ensured that all seven individuals were safely evacuated and relocated to a secure location.

Elsewhere in the region, heavy rains have caused widespread damage. In Jhal Magsi, roofs of houses collapsed, and in Loralai and Kolpur, floodwaters have inundated homes, leaving residents in urgent need of assistance.

Many spent the night under the open sky, waiting for aid.
