PCB announces free entry for fans for final days of Rawalpindi Test
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for spectators for the remaining days of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The decision, aimed at encouraging more families and students to attend, covers the fourth and fifth days of the Test. The ongoing series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.
According to a PCB statement, spectators must bring their original CNIC or B-form to enter. Free access will be granted to VIP enclosures (Imran Khan and Javed Miandad) and premium enclosures (Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat), with family-only seating in VIP sections.
The free entry policy excludes PCB gallery and platinum box tickets. Fans who have already bought tickets for these days will receive refunds. Online buyers will be refunded automatically, while those who purchased from Express Centres must return their original tickets for a refund, the statement added.
Additionally, it said, the PCB has arranged a free shuttle service for fans on match days, operating on two routes to ease access to the stadium.
