Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has revealed that she declined an offer to star alongside Deepika Padukone in the Bollywood film ‘Love Aaj Kal’.
In a recent interview, Saba Qamar shared that she received multiple offers from Bollywood before starring in ‘Hindi Medium’. Among these were roles in ‘Delhi 6’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, and ‘Cocktail’.
“I even auditioned for ‘Delhi 6’, but my mother did not approve, so I turned it down,” Saba Qamar explained.
She admitted that she declined ‘Love Aaj Kal’ due to her belief that, with Deepika Padukone in the lead, she would not receive much attention.
“When the film was released, I watched it with my friends and realised I had made a huge mistake by turning it down,” she added.
Saba Qamar is known for her role in ‘Hindi Medium’, where she starred opposite the legendary actor Irrfan Khan, playing his wife.
