Disclosure of Civil Aviation Authority to be operated on ad hoc basis

Karachi:  Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is being run on an ad hoc basis.

According to the sources, despite the passage of 3 months, permanent DG has not been appointed in the Civil Aviation Authority. Secretary Aviation is being given temporary charge of the post of DG.

Despite the passage of three months for the appointment of the new DG Civil Aviation, not even an advertisement has been given. Due to lack of DG, work in civil aviation is slow. In the absence of a permanent DG, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Additional DGCAA started holding open courts for the complaints of passengers.

Former DG Khaqan Murtaza was removed from the post of Civil Aviation on April 20. The new CAADG was directed to be appointed within three months
