Indian team accused of ball tampering; Captain Rohit Sharma’s reaction came out
Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma reacted to Inzamam-ul-Haq’s ball-tampering statement in the T20 World Cup.
In the pre-match conference held before the second semi-final, the captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma, while reacting to the statement made by former national team captain and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq regarding ball tampering, said, “What should I answer?” If you are playing in extreme heat and the pitches are dry, the ball will start to reverse itself.
“All the teams are getting reverse swing, it’s just happening to us a little bit, sometimes you have to open your mind, you have to understand where we are playing, we are not playing in England or Australia,” he said.

He said that in the 15th over of the match between Australia and India, Arsdeep Singh was reverse swinging the ball, the new ball does not reverse so quickly, it means that the ball was ready for reverse swing by the 12th or 13th over. One has to keep one’s eyes open for these things.
