The European Union has imposed sanctions on 61 Russian companies and dozens of citizens
Brussels: The European Union also imposed restrictions on foreign companies providing capital, equipment and manpower for Russian companies’ Arctic 2 and Murmansk LNG projects.
The Russian news agency Tass has reported that the European Union has included 61 companies from China, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey in the 14th package of sanctions that had any kind of connection with Russia.
On the other hand, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said that the EU has already allowed Ukraine to use the proceeds from frozen Russian assets to supply arms.
Similarly, most EU countries agreed to impose strong and significant sanctions on Russia in response to the Ukraine war.
It should be remembered that before the sanctions of the European Union against Russia, the United States has also imposed sanctions on more than 300 Russian institutions and citizens.
