Arrests of doctors, nurses; OPDs of government hospitals remain closed for the fourth day
Rawalpindi: The Young Doctors Association Rawalpindi has stopped work in the OPDs of government hospitals for the fourth day today due to the action and arrests of doctors and nurses in the Sahiwal District Hospital fire incident.
There are senior doctors in Holy Family, Benazir Bhutto Hospital and District Headquarters Hospital, but due to the strike of young doctors in OPDs, the work pressure has increased while the patients are worried.
The association has demanded that those involved in the arrest of the doctors be brought to justice, and the doctors and nurses who are victims of political revenge be immediately reinstated. Young doctors demand that Chief Minister Punjab and Health Secretary apologize on the matter.
The Young Doctors Association has announced to continue the strike until the demands are accepted
