In the 28th match of the mega event played in Antigua, England achieved the target of 48 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 3.1 overs.
England’s captain Jos Buttler scored 26 runs not out. Phil Salt scored 12 and Will Jacks scored 5 runs.
Jonny Bairstow returned to the pavilion unbeaten by scoring 8 runs.
On behalf of Oman, Bilal Khan and Kaleemullah dismissed 1 player each.
Earlier, the Oman team was bowled out for 47 runs in the 14th over while batting first on the invitation of English captain Jos Buttler.
Shoaib Khan scored 11 runs for Oman. Kashap Prajapati 9, captain Aqib Ilyas 8, Pratak Athawle 5, Kaleemullah 5, Fayyaz Butt 2, Zeeshan Maqsood 1, Khalid Kyle 1, Ayan Khan 1 and Mehran Khan 0 were dismissed.
