Karachi: FIA Cybercrime Circle arrested the accused after acting on the complaint of a couple fed up with blackmailing.
The accused who blackmailed the couple was arrested, while a case was registered against the accused and his brother who harassed the fiancee and family.
In the first action, the accused named Mohammad Amir was arrested from Safora area on the complaint of a couple. The accused was harassing the couple and receiving money through the indecent video of the woman.
The second action was taken under court orders against Ravi Kumar and his brother Sunil Kumar. Accused Ravi with the help of his brother was harassing his fiancee and her family through tik tok based on obscene content.
The harassed woman has been engaged to the accused Ravi Kumar for many years. The victim’s sister got divorced due to the accused’s Tik Tok spreading inappropriate content in the community. Talk Talk was closed after the case was registered, but the woman and her family were receiving threats to evict them from the area
