Election excuse case: Order to issue summons notice for Qasim Suri
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has ordered the issuance of summons notice for Qasim Suri in the electoral fraud case.
Qasim Suri did not appear once again on the summons of the Supreme Court, on which the court ordered the notice of the summons to be pasted outside Qasim Suri’s house as well.
Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa remarked that according to the record, Qasim Suri’s brother Bilal refused to receive the notice, Qasim Suri is deliberately not appearing in the Supreme Court, the former Deputy Speaker’s avoidance of receiving the notice is unfortunate. .
Chief Justice Faiz Isa talking to Qasim Suri’s lawyer Naeem Bukhari said that his client is very active on media and social media, to which Naeem Bukhari replied that I don’t watch TV.
The Chief Justice remarked that you are a TV personality yourself and do not watch television, are you familiar with X or Twitter? Naeem Bukhari said that I do not use social media nor do I know how to use it. The Chief Justice said that why are you considering yourself old, stay young and up-to-date, to which Naeem Bukhari replied that I have become old now.
Justice Irfan Saadat remarked that in a TV program you had said that my friends don’t let me grow old.
Lawyer Naeem Bukhari said that I have no contact with Qasim Suri. The Chief Justice said in his remarks that the next hearing will be held in July, the next date will be fixed in the court order.
The court adjourned the hearing till next month
