Spain officially recognized Palestine as an independent state

Madrid:  Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is the only way to peace in the Middle East. So today we officially recognize Palestine as a separate state.

According to the World News Agency, Spain announced the recognition of Palestine last week along with Norway and Switzerland, but it was yet to be approved by the parliament.

Spain approved the government-level recognition of Palestine as a separate and independent state, which was announced by Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in an interview with the media.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that recognizing the Palestinian state is not only a matter of historical justice, but this initiative of other European countries, including Spain, will promote peace in the Middle East.

The Spanish Prime Minister added that the only way to establish peace in the Middle East is the establishment of a Palestinian state that stands side by side with the Israeli state.

It should be remembered that after the recognition of Palestine by Spain, Norway, and Ireland, Belgium has also shown its intention to recognize Palestine.
