Riyadh: Saudi Arabia assigned the responsibility of this year’s Hajj sermon to the imam and preacher of Masjid al-Haram, Dr. Mahir bin Hamad al-Mu’aiqli.
The head of religious affairs of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi and Imam of the Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al Sudis confirmed the name of Dr Maher after the royal approval.
He said that Sheikh Mahir al-Mu’aiqli will give a sermon on the Day of Arafah on the occasion of Hajj 1445 Hijri this year. It should be noted that every year some Khatib is selected for Hajj sermon.
Hajj sermon is also broadcast in Urdu, English, Hindi, French and other 19 languages for the convenience of pilgrims from all over the world
