Israel must admit that it cannot exist without a Palestinian state, Saudi Arabia
Brussels: Saudi Arabia says that Israel must admit that it cannot exist without a Palestinian state.
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said in a media interview in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, that it is important for Israel to recognize the existence of a Palestinian state. It would be in Israel’s own interest to do so.
The Saudi foreign minister further said that Israel should recognize that it cannot exist without the existence of a Palestinian state, but the current government of Israel does not understand this and it is a cause for concern.
Faisal bin Farhan said that the two-state solution is in the interest of both Palestine and Israel, the parties should hold talks immediately. The people of Gaza cannot wait much longer. The right of self-determination to the Palestinians will not be decided by Israel, but it is contained in the UN Charter and international law
