T20 World Cup; Ahmed Shahzad raised a question on Usman Khan’s selection
Opener Ahmed Shahzad questioned the selection of young wicketkeeper batsman Usman Khan in the T20 World Cup squad.
After a disappointing start to his international career against New Zealand, Usman was not given a chance in the series against Ireland, but Ahmed Shahzad has expressed his displeasure over making him a part of the squad for the mega event.
In an interview, Ahmed Shahzad said that the selection process is being conducted on the basis of wishes or sympathy instead of performance, he raised the question on the basis of which performance Usman Khan was made a part of the squad?

Earlier, Ahmed Shehzad accused some players of campaigning on social media to join the team and said that in Pakistan Super League (PSL), players are selected in the team on the basis of one-fifty, while in domestic Players wait for 8 to 10 years before their name comes to represent the national team.
