According to the World News Agency, the spokesman of Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, Abu Obaidah, while praising his success, said that he lured the Israeli soldiers in the Jabalia camp to search for a tunnel.
According to Abu Obaidah, the Israeli soldiers mistakenly thought this tunnel was the hideout of al-Qassam soldiers and arrived with the intention of arresting the fighters, where our soldiers were already waiting for them.
Al-Qassam Brigade spokesman further said that one Israeli army officer was killed on the spot while several others were injured and taken prisoner whose condition is now out of danger.
On the other hand, the spokesman of the Israeli army dismissed Al-Qassam’s claim as baseless and said that no Israeli army officer became a prisoner of Hamas in this clash.
It should be remembered that since the martyrdom of more than 80 Palestinians in the last 24 hours, the total number of martyrs in the Israeli bombardment since October 7 has reached 35 thousand 984, in which half of the number are children and women.
