Makkah: The Saudi Ministry of Interior has banned entry to Makkah on a visit visa.
In a statement released by the Saudi Ministry of Interior, it has been said that people with any type of visit visa will not be allowed to enter Makkah. Only Hajj visa holders will be able to enter Makkah.

According to the authorities, due to the Hajj season, there will be a ban on visiting Makkah from May 23 to June 21. Persons on visit visas in Makkah should leave immediately. Hajj will not be allowed on a visit visa. Visitors on a visit visa should avoid traveling to Makkah during this period to avoid fines under Saudi Arabian rules and regulations
