Houston: The American cricket team made history by winning the T20 series against Bangladesh.
In the second match of the three-match T20I series played in Houston, the hosts won by 6 runs, chasing a target of 145 runs, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 138 three balls ago.
Batting first, America scored 144 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, captain Monanik Patel played a brilliant innings of 42 runs while Erin Jones scored 35 runs and Steven Taylor scored 31 runs.
Bangladeshi bowlers Irshad Hussain, Mustafizur Rehman and Sharaful Islam took two wickets each.

Chasing the target, the Bangladesh team was all out by scoring 138 runs on the third ball of the last over, Bangladesh captain Najam Al Hussain scored 36 runs and Shakib Al Hasan scored 30 runs. American bowler Ali Khan took three wickets while Saurabh and Shedley took two wickets each.
Earlier in the first T20 match, America defeated the Bengal Tigers team by 5 wickets, the last match of the series will be played on May 25
