I know a lot of people can make fun of that or say whatever they want, but I wanted to prove myself as an actor. That was something I wanted to do, to follow my heart,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Looking back on that decision, Kareena said her own experience has made her particularly keen for her children to complete their education before pursuing their ambitions.<\/p>\n
\u201cEducation is something I do regret not completing. That\u2019s why I have pushed my boys to finish their education first and then follow their hearts. When UNICEF approached me about supporting young girls\u2019 education in India, I felt deeply about it because I had always carried that regret that I hadn\u2019t completed my own education,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Kareena also reflected on her decision to enter the film industry, explaining that although she grew up in a family with deep ties to Bollywood, becoming an actor was ultimately her own choice.<\/p>\n
