Indian actor Salman Khan has broken his silence over the controversy surrounding him after a viral hospital incident, calling out paparazzi behaviour and what he described as their insensitivity.<\/p>\n
Sharing a series of pictures on Instagram, the actor addressed the incident directly after being photographed outside Mumbai\u2019s Hinduja Hospital, where he had reportedly gone to visit an ailing family member.<\/p>\n
While returning from the hospital, Salman Khan was reportedly swarmed by a crowd of paparazzi who aggressively followed his car, shouting his name and filming him. The situation escalated when the actor appeared visibly upset over what he considered insensitive behaviour during a private family matter.<\/p>\n
Videos from the scene quickly went viral, showing the Tiger actor scolding the crowd over their actions. Hours later, instead of issuing a formal PR statement, Salman took to social media himself, posting a bundle of close-up selfies accompanied by an intense caption that shared his side of the story.<\/p>\n
In one post, the actor directly addressed the media, writing that if he ever saw members of the press outside a hospital \u201cenjoying his pain\u201d, despite the same media being people he had interacted with and supported for decades, then they should at least \u201ckeep quiet\u201d instead of trying to profit from someone\u2019s suffering.<\/p>\n
He added that he had always ensured they \u201cearned their bread and butter\u201d, but criticised those attempting to make content out of a moment of grief.<\/p>\n
In another set of photos, Salman wrote, \u201cBhai bhai bhai Matrabhumi picture … pic imp hai ya life (All this \u2018bhai bhai bhai\u2019 and \u2018Matrubhumi\u2019 chanting\u2026 to hell with the film, is a picture more important or someone\u2019s life?)\u201d, referring to the crowd repeatedly shouting the name of his upcoming film during the tense moment.<\/p>\n
The post then took a more serious turn as Salman issued a warning to intrusive paparazzi culture. \u201cHai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath… Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga?\u201d he wrote, which translates to, \u201cIf you want to try this next time over a brother\u2019s grief, try it with me. Just try it\u2026 When someone from your family is in a hospital, will I react like this?\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor further added that despite being 60 years old, he had \u201cnot forgotten how to fight\u201d, jokingly adding, \u201cJail mein dalo ge haaa haaa.\u201d Although Salman injected moments of humour into his posts, the overall message remained firm, offering what many online described as a reality check against toxic paparazzi culture in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n
His remarks also reignited conversations around celebrity privacy and the blurred line between public access and personal boundaries.
