Iran\u2019s top security official Ali Larijani sharply criticised Muslim countries \u2013 particularly Gulf states \u2013 for failing to support Tehran during its conflict with the United States and Israel, accusing them of remaining silent despite what he called \u201cdeceitful aggression\u201d against Iran.<\/p>\n
In a message addressed to Muslims worldwide and the governments of Islamic countries, Larijani said Iran came under attack during negotiations in what he described as an attempt by Washington and Israel to dismantle the country.<\/p>\n
He said the assault killed senior leaders, civilians and military commanders but added that Iran responded with \u201cstrong national and Islamic resistance from the Iranian people\u201d.<\/p>\n
Larijani said that, aside from limited political statements, Islamic countries had not stood by Iran during the conflict, leaving Tehran to face the war alone. He claimed Iran\u2019s resistance had pushed its adversaries into a \u201cstrategic deadlock\u201d.<\/p>\n
He directly criticised Muslim governments for failing to respond to Iran\u2019s calls, quoting a saying attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).<\/p>\n
\u201cSome Islamic governments act contrary to the Prophet\u2019s saying: \u2018Whoever hears a man calling, \u2018O Muslims,\u2019 and does not respond, is not a Muslim.\u2019 What kind of Islam is this?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The Iranian official also targeted Gulf and regional countries hosting American military facilities, rejecting objections raised by those governments after Iran struck US and Israeli-linked interests on their soil.<\/p>\n

\u201cShould Iran remain idle while US bases in your countries are used to attack it? These are flimsy excuses,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Larijani framed the conflict as a broader regional confrontation, saying: \u201cThe confrontation today is between America and Israel on one side and Iran and the resistance forces on the other. Which side are you on?\u201d<\/p>\n
He urged regional governments to reconsider their alliances, warning that the United States was unreliable and describing Israel as an enemy of the Muslim world.<\/p>\n
