A Pakistani national has been killed in the United Arab Emirates after debris from an intercepted missile fell in Abu Dhabi, according to\u00a0Al Jazeera. The death comes as the war triggered by US and Israeli strikes on Iran continues to spill across the Gulf, placing civilians far beyond the main battlefield at risk.<\/p>\n
The victim was identified as a Pakistani national by the Abu Dhabi Media Office,\u00a0Al Jazeera\u00a0reported on Tuesday, adding that the person was killed by falling debris from an intercepted missile in Abu Dhabi’s Bani Yas area.<\/p>\n
This is not the first such case involving Pakistanis caught in the fallout from the widening conflict. On February 28, a Pakistani citizen\u00a0died\u00a0in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the interception of an Iranian missile after joint US and Israeli strikes on Iran prompted retaliatory attacks.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0second\u00a0Pakistani was later killed in Dubai\u2019s Al Barsha area on March 8 when debris from an aerial interception fell onto a vehicle. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also\u00a0mourned\u00a0the deaths of two Pakistanis in Dubai and directed authorities to help repatriate their bodies.<\/p>\n
Another Pakistani death occurred the same day, when a\u00a0fisherman\u00a0from Gwadar was killed in Iranian waters after debris from an Israeli missile, intercepted by Iranian air defences, struck his boat. Local officials identified the victim as Muhammad Tayyab, a resident of Gwadar district in Balochistan.<\/p>\n
On March 6, falling debris in Abu Dhabi\u00a0injured\u00a0six Pakistani and Nepalese nationals because of an intercepted drone and wider missile activity over the UAE.<\/p>\n
The broader regional\u00a0conflict\u00a0began on February 28, when the US and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iran.
