Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar planted 200 trees in Mumbai in memory of his late parents Haryum Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia.
Actor Akshay Kumar planted these trees in association with BMC’s ongoing plantation drive in India. Akshay Kumar said in his statement that planting trees is a small return gift from us to Mother Earth. Doing this in honor of my parents makes it even more special for me.
The Indian actor emphasized that the tree planting campaign is a tribute to the love and care of parents and a promise to nurture and protect the environment for future generations.
Akshay Kumar led the tree planting drive on the Western Expressway in Kherwari and planted two hundred trees along with BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani.
