Mumbai: Famous Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar says that wives of Bollywood stars talk about clothes and fashion even after death.
Karan Johar said in an interview that I was deeply shocked and saddened when I heard the wives of Bollywood stars talking about the clothes and fashion worn during their death. 4 wives of Bollywood stars and I were traveling on the same flight to attend someone’s funeral and all four of them were excitedly talking about clothes.
Karan Johar further said that I am shocked that someone has passed away and we are going to attend his last rites but these women have no regard for the occasion and do not care.
The filmmaker further said that actor Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor was actively participating in all these discussions. On this occasion, I got the idea to make something about them and then I made the Netflix series ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’, after the success of which a second season was also made.
Karan Johar’s Netflix series Fabulous Life of Bollywood Wives aired in 2020, depicting the private and professional lives of the wives of famous actors. The series was heavily criticized for its excessive glamor and unnecessary display of money.
