Mumbai: Legendary Bollywood actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has expressed his happiness on the marriage of his only daughter and actress Sonakshi Sinha with Muslim friend Zaheer Iqbal.
After the civil marriage of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, an Indian journalist asked Shatrughan Sinha how are you feeling on your daughter’s special day?
In response to this question, Shatroghan Sinha said, “Is this even a question?” Every father eagerly waits for the moment when his daughter is married off to the right person.
Shatrughan Sinha said that my daughter looks very happy with Zaheer, I pray that their couple will always be safe.

The senior actor added that 44 years ago, I married Poonam Sinha, a successful, beautiful and talented girl of my choice, now it was Sonakshi’s turn to marry the boy of her choice.
It should be noted that on Sunday, June 23, Sonakshi Sinha married her long-time Muslim friend and actor Zaheer Iqbal, the couple signed civil marriage papers in a small ceremony and started their new journey in life.
