Indian Air Force fighter plane crashed

According to Indian media, the spokesperson of the Indian Air Force said that the fighter plane had taken off from the base of the Indian Air Force for a routine flight, but shortly after, the plane lost contact with the control tower.

The search team searching for the plane found the wreckage in a field in Shirasgaon village of Nashik city. The plane was on fire and the fire brigade personnel were called to douse it.

In a statement released by the spokesperson of the Indian Air Force, it has been said that the two pilots had jumped to save their lives shortly before the plane crashed.

The military plane was completely burnt to ashes. Wing Commander Bokal and his Assistant Commander Biswas sustained minor injuries due to parachute fall and were discharged after being treated at the hospital.

The cause of the plane crash has not yet been determined. An inquiry committee was formed by the Indian government to investigate the incident
