Attempt to smuggle ice abroad from Lahore airport failed, 2 accused arrested

LAHORE:  The Anti-Narcotics Force foiled an attempt to smuggle a large amount of ice abroad while conducting an intelligence-based operation at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.

According to the spokesperson of ANF, drugs were being smuggled to Sharjah by absorbing them in clothes, 2 accused residents of Lahore who sent the cargo have been arrested.

The ice has been sent to a laboratory to be separated from the fabric, after laboratory tests the exact amount of ice will be determined.

A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act and investigation has been started
